Founded by Jeff and Lee Bednar, farmers themselves, in 2018, Profound Foods has grown rapidly. It started with a focus on providing services to professional chefs but has since expanded its reach. The company received a USDA grant in 2018 to create a local "food hub," offering a combination of production, distribution, and marketing services that help small farmers grow.
